Body recovered from Hudson; may be man who jumped last month

POUGHKEEPSIE – The body of a man was recovered from the Hudson River in the area of Marist College on Wednesday and it is believed it was that of a man suspected of jumping off the Mid-Hudson Bridge in mid-April, authorities said.
The cause of death of the man, who was in his early 20s, was ruled a suicide by the Dutchess County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Detectives from the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office and Town of Poughkeepsie Police investigated and recovered the body.
