NEW CITY – Two women were sentenced in Rockland County Court in connection with the murder of Peggy Nadell, the mother-in-law of one of the women.
Diana Nadell, 51, of Cutler Bay, Florida, was sentenced to 23 years to life in prison on a murder conviction. Her co-defendant, Andrea Benson, 26, of Washington, DC, was sentenced to 20 years to life in prison on her conviction to murder.
Peggy Nadell was found murdered in her Valley Cottage home on January 25, 2014.
Investigation revealed Diana Nadell travelled to Washington under the
guise of attending a wedding. After meeting at the airport, she allegedly
offered Benson money to drive her to New York to assist in the killing
of her mother-in-law.
