KINGSTON – The City of Kingston’s
purchasing agent has tossed his hat into the ring for the Seventh District
in the Ulster County Legislature.
Brian Woltman, a life-long Kingston resident, has been purchasing agent
with the city for 19 years.
Legislator Jeannette Provenzano, who currently represents that county
legislative district, said Woltman is “thoughtful, hardworking,
and well qualified for the position.”
Like Provenzano, Woltman is a Democrat.
Jennifer Schwartz Berky, the county’s deputy planning commissioner,
is also seeking the Democratic nomination for that same legislative seat.
