Fishkill bank robbed

FISHKILL – The Dutchess County Sheriff’s
Office is investigating a bank robbery that occurred at the Key Bank branch
in the Village of Fishkill at about 4:40 p.m. on Thursday.

Preliminary investigation determined that a man walked into the bank and
displayed what appeared to be a handgun, demanded money and then fled.

The amount of money taken has not been determined.

The suspect is described as a man of unknown race, about six feet tall,
wearing a black mask and sunglasses, light gray gloves, and an orange
T-shirt with unknown writing worn over a black long sleeve shirt.

The suspect had a watch on his right wrist, and carried a brown burlap
bag.

He fled the bank in an unknown direction and it was not known if a vehicle
was used.
