Rodriguez named Orange County communications director

GOSHEN – Orange County Executive Steven Neuhaus named a Town of Wallkill man as the county’s communications and media relations director.
Justin Rodriguez has “deep-seated roots in the community and great knowledge of Orange County,” Neuhaus said.               
Rodriguez, who holds a bachelor’s degree from SUNY Fredonia, was a newspaper sports reporter for close to 20 years.
His duties with the county will include handling public and media relations as well as external communications for the county and will serve as the county’s public information officers for the Emergency Operations Center including work related to the Indian Point power plant emergency plan and response.
