NEWBURGH – The City of Newburgh Police Department has joined a program called OffenderWatch to more thoroughly manage the city’s sex offenders for quick community notifications.
All of the city’s registered sex offenders have been entered into the system and as addresses change or new offenders move in, the public can receive instant notifications by email. There is no cost to the public.
Users can register as many addresses as they like by logging onto the police web page: www.cityofnewburgh-ny.gov/police .
