Washingtonville High School receives bomb threat

WASHINGTONVILLE – For the third day
in a row, a school in Orange County has received a bomb threat.

Shortly after noon on Friday, officials at Washingtonville High School
received a bomb threat in a classroom. Students were brought into the
gym and then taken to the middle school while police inspect the high
school for anything suspicious.

The police investigated and determined there was no credible threat and
that the building was safe.

On Thursday, Monroe-Woodbury Middle School received a bomb threat and
on Wednesday, Monroe-Woodbury High School received a similar threat.

In both cases, police investigated and found nothing out of the ordinary.
