MONTGOMERY – Amid reports of sexting among Valley Central High School students, Superintendent Dr. Richard Hooley has sent a letter to parents telling them they should be aware that such behavior “has long term implications for both the senders and receivers.” He said the “immediate impact can also be crushing.”
Since student confidentiality comes in to play here, Hooley said the district would not share details of the incidents or the discipline of individual students involved.
Hooley said he was planning informational sessions to education parents, students and the community of the dangers of sexting.
Montgomery Town Police said it does not appear at this time that any criminal arrests will be made.
