Ellenville man guilty of possessing home burglary proceeds

KINGSTON – An Ellenville man was convicted
of felony criminal possession of stolen property by an Ulster County Court
jury in connection with a burglary in Ellenville on February 26, 2014.
Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies located Christopher Holmes, 52, carrying stolen computer equipment and jewelry taken earlier that day in a home burglary.
Holmes has an extensive criminal history dating back to 1990, much of it theft related. That includes three prior felony convictions.
He will be sentenced to prison in June.
