Van Dyk
HIGHLAND – State Police at Highland arrested a Burnt Hills woman for allegedly forging signatures on three checks belonging to an elderly relative for whom she was caring.
Dina Van Dyk, 31, allegedly wrote the checks out to herself and then signed the relative’s name. She was also charged with using the same relative’s credit cards several times without permission to make purchases for herself. She allegedly sole approximately $2,151 during a four-month period.
Van Dyk was arraigned and released on her own recognizance.
