Middletown man charged with stealing money from employer

TOWN OF NEWBURGH – A man who worked as a finance manager at a car dealership in the Town of Newburgh has been charged with grand larceny, falsifying business records and forgery, all as felonies for allegedly stealing over $3,000 from his employer.
State Police allege that William Tyler of Middletown stole the funds and attempted to cover up the theft by committing forgery and falsifying business records at the dealership.
Tyler was sent to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $1,500 cash bail.
