Five arrested in Ellenville “Operation Buyer Beware”

ELLENVILLE – Police arrested five people on a variety of drug charges when they conducted “Operation Buyer Beware” on Friday.
The operation began at 1 p.m. and ended at 9 p.m. with surveillance of narcotics trafficking locations, the execution of 10 residential searches of probationers, and the execution of arrest warrants for suspects in the Village of Ellenville and Town of Wawarsing.
Police seized heroin, methadone, steroids, marijuana and hypodermic instruments as a result of the operation.
Arrested were Donna Vail, 44; Scott Miller, 32; Marcus Coles, 40; Iris
Seranno, 36; and Toni Perreta, 43, all of Ellenville.
Ellenville Police conducted the investigation in conjunction with the URGENT Task Force, Ulster County Sheriff’s Office and a K-9 unit, and the probation department.
