LOCH SHELDRAKE – The SUNY Sullivan
Board of Trustees Wednesday night approved a 2015-16 college budget in
an eight to one vote.

The spending plan comes in at a little over $19 million. The board voted
last week on the budget, but it was rejected. The same one was approved
last night.

The proposed budget includes student revenue of $4.58 million, a county
contribution of $4.3 million, chargeback revenue from other counties in
the state of $2.52 million, state aid of $3.4 million, and restricted
revenue including SUNY capital projects matching funds and grants of $2
million.

The budget will be presented today (Thursday) to the county legislature
for its consideration. Once approved, it will be submitted to SUNY.
