Two arrested on fugitive warrants

NEW YORK – A Beacon man was arrested in New York City by State Police investigators on an outstanding warrant as a state parole absconder. Rodney Parker, 39, was originally charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance as a felony.  He was wanted by State Police for unlawful fleeing from a police officer.
Another man, Kenneth Trieber, 50, of the Town of Thompson, was also arrested by State Police in New York City on a warrant as a fugitive from justice from Alabama. His original charge was criminal sexual act with a child.
Both were turned over to the respective wanting agencies.
