ROSENDALE – The Ulster Regional Gang Enforcement Narcotics Team arrested two Rosendale residents following an investigation into a marijuana growing operation.
Police received information earlier this month of marijuana being grown at a residence on Greenkill Road. An investigation was conducted and a search warrant was obtained and executed on Tuesday.   Authorities found 12 pounds of marijuana, assorted growing paraphernalia and $1,700 in cash.
Police arrested Alexander Rabsey, 41, and Michelle Thomas, 31, both of Greenkill Road in Bloomington. They were each charged with felony criminal possession of marijuana and misdemeanor unlawful growing of cannabis.  Both were released to appear in Rosendale Town Court at a later date.
