Man, released from state prison is rearrested in Ulster as fugitive

KINGSTON – A Queens man is in the Ulster County Jail on a charge that he was wanted by the Sussex County, New Jersey Sheriff’s Office for a probation violation stemming from a heroin-related charge.
Joseph McGlinch, 31, had just been released on Tuesday from the state’s Ulster Correctional Facility in the Town of Wawarsing when he was taken into custody by Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies on the New Jersey charge.  He was sent to the Ulster Jail without bail.
Deputies were assisted by the State Department of Corrections and the Ulster County District Attorney’s Office.
