Kingston man arrested following injury to infant

KINGSTON – The Ulster County Family and Child Advocacy Center arrested a Kingston man following an investigation into the injury of a 14-month-old girl in the City of Kingston.
Robert Harkins, 28, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, unlawful imprisonment, criminal mischief and harassment.  He was released on his own recognizance with the case turned over to the Ulster County District Attorney’s Office Special Victims Unit.
Authorities did not reveal the circumstances surrounding the injuries to the child.
The Ulster County Family and Child Advocacy center is comprised of the State Police, Ulster Sheriff’s Office, Child Protective Services and the District Attorney’s Office.
