WOODBOURNE – Firefighters from a number
of departments in Sullivan County battled a three-alarm fire at 272 Rose
Road in Woodbourne late Monday morning.
All occupants in the mobile home escaped the flames. A garage was attached
to the structure.
Sullivan County Emergency Services Commissioner Richard Martinkovic said
the fire department had difficulty in securing manpower to fight the fire
because of the time of day during a work day.
A county fire investigator was at the scene in an effort to determine
the cause of the fire.
