Kingston man caught with cocaine

KINGSTON – A Kingston man is under arrest after he was caught with cocaine in Kingston.
Police conducted a surveillance operation in the area of Smith Avenue and Grand Street in Kingston on Friday, March 27 that culminated in the arrest of Mack McMillan, Jr.
As officers moved in to take him into custody, McMillan fled on foot but was quickly apprehended with the help of an Ulster County Sheriff’s K-9 unit.
McMillan, 32, was found in possession of a substantial amount of suspected cocaine. Investigators went to his residence on Smith Avenue and recovered more suspected cocaine and drug paraphernalia.  He was charged with three counts of drug possession and resisting arrest.
