ALBANY – Three Hudson Valley communities
have received a total of $27,500 from the Hudson River Valley Greenway
for projects that will help shape development, preserve and spur neighborhood
revitalization.
The Town of Clinton will receive $10,000 to revise its zoning laws, which
need an update to align with the revised comprehensive plan adopted in
2012.
The Village of Cold Spring will receive $10,000 for an update to its village
code to include subdivision regulations and standards for historic preservation
and to encourage and enable future development and redevelopment in a
responsible, more sustainable manner.
The City of Newburgh will receive $7,500 for a project to reactivate vacant
lots. The Newburgh Community Land Bank will transform three vacant lots
into neighborhood green space.
