KINGSTON – As part of Ulster County’s Zero Tolerance anti-fraud, waste and abuse program, a Wallkill man has been arrested for allegedly collecting over $15,600 in Medicaid, Temporary Assistance and SNAP benefits to which he was not entitled.
Christopher George was charged with welfare fraud and offering a false instrument for filing, both felonies.  He allegedly failed to report employment information over a nine-month period, thereby collecting the funds.
George was issued an appearance ticket and released.
