NJ man charged with transporting heroin on train to Port Jervis

PORT JERVIS – A Patterson, New Jersey man was arrested on Friday as he got off a Metro-North Railroad train at the Port Jervis station.
Police said Weldon McWilliams, 28, had in his possession a brick of heroin – 50 bags – which he transported from New Jersey aboard the train with the intention of selling the drug in Port Jervis.
McWilliams was charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance.  He was sent to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail.
