COLD SPRING – The US Postal Service is still reviewing public comments and recommendations for a new location for a Cold Spring Post Office. Operations are currently being conducted in a mobile facility.
Four sites have been recommended and USPO spokesman George Flood said there is no location selected at this point.
“We are still in the process of reviewing the public comments that we have received and we had a posting from February 2 through March 4 soliciting public comments and we have received quite a bit and we are currently reviewing that so I can’t give you an exact date, but as soon as we make that decision we will be notifying the general public as well as the local community officials,” Flood said.
