Woman who died from fall at mall was New Jersey resident

WEST NYACK – The woman who fell three stories to her death at the Palisades Center Mall in West Nyack Thursday afternoon has been identified by Clarkstown Police as a New Jersey woman.
Police said Monika Taylor, 42, of Haskell, NJ, fell from the fourth level to the first in what appears to have been a suicide. She was pronounced dead shortly after the incident at Nyack Hospital.
Police were alerted to the fall when they received several 911 calls at around 3:47 p.m. on Thursday.
