PINE BUSH – A man is in the Orange County Jail without bail following his arrest for allegedly attacking another man in Pine Bush.
Kevin Grant, Jr., 26, of Pine Bush, allegedly approached a 37-year-old man from behind on Center Street and proceeded to kick and strike him with his fists and a shovel. During the assault, the suspect stole the victim’s cell phone, wallet and jewelry.
The victim was treated by Mobile Life Support Services EMTs and transported to Orange Regional Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill for treatment of his injuries.
On March 6, Grant turned himself in to the Town of Crawford Police and was charged with felony robbery assault and misdemeanor criminal possession of a weapon.
Crawford Police were assisted by Middletown Police and the New York State Division of Parole.
