State prisoner arrested for drug possession

NAPANOCH – A prisoner at the Ulster Correctional Facility in Napanoch is charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance and promoting prison contraband for having drugs in his possession.
State Police said on February 28, inmate Jorge Marcial, 28, of the Bronx, was found in possession of 88 strips of Suboxone that he had purchased from another inmate while incarcerated at Rikers Island jail in New York City. He had concealed it and was able to smuggle it into Ulster Correctional.
