State prisoner arrested for possession of drugs

NAPANOCH – A 28-year-old Bronx man,
who is a prisoner at the Ulster Correctional Facility in Napanoch has
been charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance
and promoting prison contraband for having drugs in his possession.

State Police said inmate Jorge Marcial was found in possession of 88 strips
of Suboxone that he had purchased from another inmate while incarcerated
at Rikers Island jail in New York City. He had concealed it and was able
to smuggle it into Ulster Correctional.

Marcial was charged on February 28.
