FALLSBURG – Town of Fallsburg Police arrested two people for allegedly stealing checks from a residence in Neversink, forging and cashing them at a business in Woodbourne.
Anthony Atkins, 28, of Grahamsville was charged with four felony counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument. Angela Disanto was charged with four counts of forgery and four counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument, all as felonies.
Both were arraigned and sent back to the Sullivan County Jail where they are being held on other charges.
