BEDFORD – A Poughkeepsie man was arrested after he allegedly tried to smuggle marijuana into the Bedford Hills Correctional Facility.
David Green, 28, was charged with promoting prison contraband as a misdemeanor and unlawful possession of marijuana as a violation. He allegedly had 10 grams of pot on him when he entered the women’s prison to visit an inmate on February 23.
Green was released on $100 cash bail pending a future court appearance.
