Bonacic endorses Gerald Benjamin for Board of Regents

ALBANY – SUNY New Paltz Associate
Vice President Dr. Gerald Benjamin has been mentioned as a candidate for
the New York State Board of Regents and Senator John Bonacic (R-Mt. Hope)
has lent his support to the educator.

The senator noted Benjamin has “devoted his professional life to
serving the people of New York State.”

Bonacic noted Benjamin has served as a member of the Ulster County Legislature
in the past and now serves as associate vice president for Regional Engagement
and the director of the Center for Research, regional Education and Outreach
at SUNY New Paltz.

Bonacic said with Benjamin’s “depth of knowledge regarding
New York State Government, he will be an asset to the New York State Board
of Regents.”
