Fallsburg man arrested with weapon during traffic stop

TOWN OF THOMPSON – A Fallsburg man is in the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail following his arrest after a traffic stop on Route 17 in the Town of Thompson.
State Police said Joseph Lingen, 29, was stopped on Wednesday for traffic violations when it was learned he was wanted on an outstanding bench warrant by the Village of Woodridge Court. He was also found in possession of brass knuckles and was charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon.
