Kingston man arrested on grand larceny charge

KINGSTON – Ulster Town Police arrested a First Avenue, Kingston man for allegedly making unauthorized withdrawals from a woman’s bank account.
As a result of an investigation, police arrested Jamal Burgos, 37, who was known to the woman, for allegedly stealing her debit card and making six unauthorized withdrawals totaling over $3,000.
At the time of his arrest on Tuesday, Burgos was already incarcerated in the Ulster County Jail on an unrelated charge. In this case, he was charged with felony grand larceny, arraigned and sent back to the county jail.
