MIDDLETOWN – And now there are three. One of the four finalists for the post of president of SUNY Orange withdrew from contention on Wednesday.
Each candidate was to be in town for two days later this month meeting with college constituencies and the public.
The first two-day interview sessions are now cancelled. The other interviews will move forward as planned – February 25-26, March 2-3 and March 4-5.
The new president will succeed William Richards who is retiring at the end of this academic year.
