Wappingers Falls mayor runs unopposed

WAPPINGERS FALLS –Matthew Alexander
is running for his fifth term as mayor of the Village of Wappingers Falls
next month.
Democrat Alexander is cross-endorsed by the Republicans for the fourth time and as of now, he has no opposition.
“Still everybody’s vote counts. It’s good for everybody to stay in the process of exercising their right to vote and government. We’re hoping everyone shows up,” Alexander said.
Village elections are on March 18 statewide.
