Wallkill to share water with neighboring municipality

TOWN OF WALLKILL – When the Village of Goshen runs into trouble with its water supply, the Town of Wallkill has agreed to step in.
The town will share its water. Town Supervisor Daniel Depew said they have an ample supply.
“The water is here, the population is there. Our water and sewer rates are pennies compared to what some of the municipal people pay in other towns,” he said.
Depew and Goshen officials will be working out costs and other details for the agreement.
