Crime Stoppers offers reward in Cortlandt hit-and-run

CORTLANDT – New York State Crime Stoppers
is offering a cash reward of up to $2,500 for information that directly
leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible
for a hit-and-run incident at 10:35 p.m. on February 10.

A 26-year-old man, Alex Hoy of Yorktown, was walking on Lexington Avenue
in Cortlandt when a vehicle struck him and fled the scene. He was unable
to obtain a vehicle description, but it sustained a broken windshield,
passenger side view mirror and fender before it took off, police said.

Hoy was transported to Westchester Medical Center where he was treated
for non-life threatening injuries.

Anyone with information about this incident, including the vehicle with
the damage is asked to call Crime Stoppers’ hotline at 866-313-TIPS
(8477). Callers may remain anonymous.
