SAUGERTIES – Three people are charged with attempted assault after an argument among roommates turned into an attack on a fourth person, Saugerties Police said.
The incident occurred on Saturday, February 7 at 172 Market Street in the Village of Saugerties.
According to the victim, his roommates Dennis Fellows, 46, Brandon Fellows, 17, and Austin Jones, 21, restrained him during the argument at which time Dennis Fellows reportedly placed him in a chokehold causing him to become dizzy and experience difficulty in breathing. Brandon Fellows is alleged to have punched the victim in the head with his fist causing injury, while Jones kicked him in the ribs, hips and legs.
All three of the alleged attackers were taken into custody, processed and issued appearance tickets returned to village court.
