WEST NYACK – Clarkstown Police charged a Park Ridge, New Jersey man with reckless endangerment after he jumped over the railing on the second floor of the Palisades Center Mall in West Nyack Sunday afternoon and landed 20 feet below on the first floor.
Nicholas Diblasi, 21, told police he jumped on a dare from a friend. Officers found him conscious, dazed and seemingly intoxicated.  Diblasi was taken to Nyack Hospital for treatment of injuries including one to his leg and none of which appeared to be life threatening, police said.
The spot into which he jumped was a heavily-trafficking pedestrian area.
