Beacon man arrested for bringing contraband into upstate prison

ROMULUS – A 29-year-old Beacon man
has been remanded to the Seneca County Jail in lieu of bail for allegedly
bringing approximately 38 grams of marijuana to a prisoner at the Five
Points Correctional Facility in Romulus during a visit.

Isalaam Paulin was charged last Friday, February 6, with criminal sale
and possession of marijuana and introducing contraband into a correctional
facility.

Paulin was remanded on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.

Five Points prison is a maximum security male facility.
