Three-alarm fire at Taylor Recycling

MONTGOMERY –Fire inside a building at Taylor Recycling on Neelytown Road in the Town of Montgomery kept firefighters busy on Tuesday.
Maybrook Fire Chief Charles Woznick they have an idea what caused the fire in a building that housed construction and demolition debris.
“They were doing some maintenance on the conveyors and apparently a hot ember dropped down and started some of the debris on fire,” Woznick said.
Fire police were called in to block traffic near the site as the fire,
which first was reported as cardboard burned inside the building.
