ALBANY – The New York State County Executives Association elected
Dutchess County Executive Marcus Molinaro as second vice president of
the statewide group. He was chosen at the annual business meeting
in Albany on Tuesday.
“I look forward to representing Dutchess County and other counties with executives on issues that impact all of us – upstate and downstate – as we work to improve to improve the quality of life in our communities,’ he said.
Molinaro took office in January 2012. Prior to being elected to the county’s top post, he served as a state assemblyman, county legislator and Village of Tivoli mayor.
