MONTGOMERY – Montgomery Firefighter
Charles Wallace, who was injured while directing traffic last month, has
died.

Assistant Montgomery Fire Chief John Hank said Wallace died Tuesday night
from injuries he sustained in the January 10 accident.

Wallace was directing traffic in front of the firehouse when he was struck
by a car. Since then he has been at Westchester Medical Center in critical
condition.

Funeral details are incomplete, Hank said.
