Kingston woman charged with threatening housemate with knife

KINGSTON – A Town of Kingston woman was arrested on Monday after
she allegedly menacing a housemate with a knife over a property dispute.

The incident occurred at their residence in the Town of Kingston when
the suspect, identified as Emily Battle, 29, unlawfully entered the victim’s
bedroom and physically menacing the individual with the knife. Battle
was also charged with subjecting the victim to unwanted contact, preventing
the person from calling 911 and then punched out a window after the dispute
ended.

State Police did not say if the victim was a man or woman.

Battle was charged with felony criminal mischief, misdemeanor menacing,
preventing an emergency call and criminal trespass and a violation of
harassment.
