Governor lifts travel ban

ALBANY – Governor Cuomo Tuesday morning
lifted the travel ban he imposed Monday afternoon in anticipation of the
winter storm expected to bring heavy snowfall and high wind.
The state imposed a full travel ban on roads and bridges thta took effect
at 11 p.m., but was lifted at 7 a.m. today.
That was imposed for the safety of the public and the emergency responders,
he said.
In the Mid-Hudson Valley, the storm was much ado about nothing. The predictions
of several inches, even feet, of snow never materialized.
To the south, Long Island felt the brunt of the storm which feet of snow
recorded.
