Mother and son arrested in Plattekill narcotics investigations

KINGSTON – A mother and son were arrested by the Ulster Regional Gang Enforcement Narcotics Team following separate narcotics investigations.
Officers received intelligence regarding a woman selling diverted pharmaceuticals in the Town of Plattekill. Christine Altro, 53, of South Ohioville Road in Plattekill, sold Oxycodone and morphine to undercover police officers during several undercover operations at her home.  She was charged with two counts each of felony criminal possession and sale of a controlled substance and sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
Detectives also received intelligence regarding a man selling heroin in the Village of New Paltz. Christopher Altro, 27, of Andrea Drive in New Paltz was arrested after he sold drugs to undercover officers.  He was charged with two counts each of criminal sale and possession of drugs as felonies and sent to the county jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
