Strong-arm robbery at shopping plaza

TOWN OF CORTLANDT – A woman who was walking home from the Beech Shopping Center in the Town of Cortlandt late at night was accosted and forcibly robbed.  State Police released a sketch of the suspect.
The victim told police she was on Route 202 in front of the Peekskill Animal Hospital at 11:30 p.m. on December 29 when a man approached her and stole her belongings.  The suspect fled toward Peekskill.
He was described as a dark complexioned black man, about six feet tall, with a medium build and a gold tooth.  He was reportedly wearing a dark colored, possibly dark orange, sweatshirt, and a black nylon windbreaker jacket, black sweatpants or dark colored jeans and may have been wearing a black knit cap.
