GREENBURGH – The Greenburgh Police Department is still actively attempting to locate missing Christine (Ji Woo) Kang, 16, who disappeared last Friday.
Greenburgh Police say they have relied on intelligence gathered from family members and the community to direct the initial steps of the investigation. Late Monday, police said they had expanded the search with the assistance of the Westchester County Police Aviation and Canine Units.
At approximately 5:00pm this evening, Greenburgh Police investigators positively confirmed that Christine boarded a southbound train at the Scarsdale Train Station on Friday, January 2, 2015, at approximately 10:15pm. Photos of Christine obtained from the Scarsdale Train Station are attached to this email.
Police are asking anyone that has had communication with Christine within the last month to contact Greenburgh Detectives at 914-989-1700. All calls can be kept confidential.
