Wallkill police investigate home invasion robbery

TOWN OF WALLKILL – Police in the Town of Wallkill continue to investigate an armed home invasion robbery that occurred Friday evening, January 2.
A 34-year-old woman living at 1 Agin Court Square told detectives she was with her nine-year-old son and 12-year-old daughter when the doorbell rang after 5 p.m. Her son answered the door at which time two men, one armed with a handgun, entered the residence.  They stole property including cash from her home and fled the area on foot.
The robbers were described as men, one white and one black. The white man was about five feet, 10 inches tall, with blonde hair, a mustache and goatee. He was wearing blue jeans and a blue short. The black man was five feet, four inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and was armed with a gun.
Wallkill Police were assisted by State Police including its BCI, and the canine unit from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
