Three Kings celebration set in Putnam County

BREWSTER – The traditional Latin American festival of Three Kings, which is traditionally celebrated on January 6, 12 days after Christmas, will have a local program for the first time in Putnam County.
The festival, celebrated since 1884, honors the Three Kings who brought gifts of incense, gold and myrrh to the Baby Jesus.
The program in Brewster will be held at the Studio Around the Corner in Brewster and include a number of activities in English and Spanish, is organized by Carmel resident Norma Pereira, who called it “a family event that should not be missed.”
The evening, which begins at 6:30 p.m., will include a visit from the three Wise Men, who will bring small gifts for children in attendance.
