FALLSBURG – A Woodridge man was arrested and charged with illegal possession of a handgun by Fallsburg Town Police.
Louis Arias, 52, was arrested on New Year’s Day following a disturbance in Woodridge. At that time, he allegedly possessed a loaded 9 mm handgun that was reported stolen from the State of Pennsylvania.
Arias was sent to the Sullivan County Jail on two counts of criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of stolen property.
During the same disturbance, Fallsburg Police also arrested Gimel Kimble, 29, of Woodridge, on misdemeanor charges of criminal mischief and criminal trespass. He was released on an appearance ticket.
